| www.sarasandsallys.com | SARA'S RESTAURANT Here is my latest website for a beloved landmark near the entrance to Presque Isle State Park. The challenge was to capture the fun and outdoor beach style atmosphere which makes up the Sara's experience! It was a privilege to produce the site for this hometown favorite. |
| www.fainsteinphoto.com | MARK FAINSTEIN PHOTOGRAPHY This is an all Flash website and was one of my most ambitious efforts. I do not think I will ever build a totally "Flash" website again but I must say that this is probably my favorite site so far. |
| RIDE-ERIE This is a pet project which fuels my interest in bikes and riding. A life-long driver myself, I always wanted a way to find info on everything "bike" to do in Erie. Now we have it! |

SMITH
PROVISION COMPANY The Smith's site has changed since I originally worked on it but you can view the original version I created by clicking to the left. Top notch photos from Fainstein Photography helped tremendously as the product looks good enough to eat right on screen! Flash animation and playful navigation add to it. And even with a name like "Smith," I nailed the SEO on this baby! |

SPLASH
LAGOON WATER PARK (Please read...if interested in viewing correctly.) This site has changed since I originally worked on it. You can view the original version by clicking the link to the left but unfortunately many of the links are dead or will now take you to a new site I did not create, ALSO, clcik through the intro Flash before it ends or you will automatically be redirected to an area I did not create. ONCE THERE HINT: use only the text links at bottom of page and mouse around for a lot of hidden Flash animation surprizes. This site received a "Gold Award" from the Erie Advertising Club. >>This was an award winning piece. |

| CAREER
CONCEPTS, INC. This was a quick, economical site where the client allowed free-reign as long as it was fast and reflected the necessary degree of professionalism to convey their services. They were very pleased. |

| ERIE
CEMETERY ASSOCIATION This site has a great data base driven feature for searching genealogy. It allows you to submit information into various fields and search one, or all of the cemeteries in the ECA network. |

| This a 30 second TV spot that I wrote and produced, taking Flash from the desktop to Broadcast TV. This was a fun yet irritating concept and I have produced every single pixel of it. | |
| A fun animation that makes use of a logo element (kid sliding on water) and I feel sucessfully captures the flavor of the water park. >>This was an award winning piece. | |
| This was my first official banner that I ever created. It's sole purpose initially was to convince my employers of the need to purchase Flash software for banner animations. | |
| Created for Mark Fainstein Photography, this simulation of a camera shutter posed many technical challenges that turned into a terriffic learning experience. | |
| Also created for Mark Fainstein Photography, this Flash sample brings a still photo to life with sound and overlay animation. | |
| A basic motion graphic used to denote flow patterns and activity. I keep it because it is an industry-related example. | |
| This was originally created as an animated gif but later converted it into a Flash movie but I still consider it worth showing. You may need to scroll side to side for this one. | |
| I created this sample in 45 minutes, impressed the client, and we got the site work. | |
| Mercyhurst Prep Open House Video I wrote, directed and provided creative for open house videos from 2007-2010. This was the last and by far the best and is now used as a recruiting tool to attract international students. Brad Drumheller from Drumheller Creative masterfully provided his talents for assembly and all post production. |

| Mini
Movie 1 This is the first in a series of short web flicks created initially for a site that never happened. They show the various capabilities and strengths of the agency. I concepted, wrote, shot and edited all of these. |

| This was an annual report for ACMC. Choice papers, varnish play and blind embossing helped make it special along with a paper anniversary band wrapped around it. >>This was an award winning piece. | |
| These were a few ACMC pieces that were designed as a series. I directed all the photography which was shot by Mike Froehlich and Tim Rohrbach. >>This was an award winning series. | |
| Marketing to prospective students, I designed a simple trim shape to look like a slice of pizza! It was assembled like a notepad with glue at the top (crust). Each page treated you to another facet of why Merchyhurst Prep is such an excellent school. It provided advertising, shelf life and results measured by the huge increase in attendees. | |
| I was personally very pleased with this piece. This was produced with all-existing photography that was supplied by the client. | |
| This was a mailer with reply card sent out to attract new business. Very Photoshop intensive and makes use of foil stamping. I directed all photography shot by Tim Rohrbach. | |
| Again I was called on to bring humor and low tech interactive fun to relieve the frustration of moving their business for the second time in less than 18 months. I developed a mailer which contained a survival kit to help you "find the Fainsteins." Bugs, maps, clues and mazes along with a pencil and working compass. >>This was an award winning piece. | |
| With creative folds, drilling, low tech interactivity and humor drew much "positive attention" to Mark Fainstein Photography's move and their business! Wiggling the tab and you move the eyes and info on both sides. >>This was an award winning piece. | |
| This was a pull-out invitation from an actual empty film canister, requesting attendance to an Erie Advertising Club meeting where the speaker was discussing traditional photography vs. stock photography. >>This was an award winning piece. | |
| This was a t-shirt design for a volleyball tournament that I participate in. | |
| This is a sample of a brochure series. There were actually 15 product manuals in this series. I directed cover and interior compositions which were masterfully shot by Fainstein Photography. | |
| This is another sample of a brochure series. It was important to come up with a design idea that conveyed the feeling of electrically controlled valves. This became a very successful product line with much of the attention in part, due to the exciting look. Photography shot by Fainstein Photography. | |
